Dr. Hussam Ghalib, MD is a Consultant Cardiologist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute, where he serves as Medical Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support and Director of the Cardiomyopathy Center. He specializes in advanced heart failure therapies and brings extensive academic and clinical expertise to the region. Dr. Ghalib earned his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan Health System, where he also served on faculty. He pursued fellowship training in Cardiovascular Medicine at UCLA Medical Center, focusing on advanced heart failure, before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
