Dr. Mario Njeim is a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. He completed medical school at Saint-Joseph University before moving to the United States where he trained at Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University in Detroit and the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor. Dr. Njeim holds American board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has multiple publications in the fields of cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology and a number of awards for excellence in patient care. Dr. Njeim served as co-chairman of the cardiac electrophysiology workgroup of the Lebanese Society of Cardiology and is the past young ambassador for Lebanon at the European Heart Rhythm Association.
