After graduating from Tripoli Medical School, he pursued postgraduate training in the UK, earning both the MRCP and FRCP designations. He completed his cardiology training in UK and was awarded CCST in cardiology in July 2001.<br><br>He began his consultant career at the University Hospital of North Durham, where he served for 15 years.<br><br>In 2018, Dr. ElHarari transitioned to the UAE, joining Al Ain Hospital, where he established a pioneering multidisciplinary heart failure service. Since July 2020, he has been based at Tawam Hospital, where he successfully developed a new Heart Failure Clinic and multidisciplinary heart failure service.<br><br>Dr. ElHarari achieved the prestigious European Heart Failure Association (HFA) certification in heart failure in October 2023. He also served as Chair of the Heart Failure Group of the UAE from 2021 to 2024, driving advancements in heart failure care across the region.
